Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful husband JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. Most people know me through my Instagram platform, @annephung. I share my life- the highs the lows and everything between. My parents took me to America in the year 1990 when I was only one and a half years old. I wouldn't be sharing my story with you today had my parents not worked hard and make sacrifices. As I knew I could be a successful person I set out to be successful and do my parents happy. I had a plan for my life: university, get a job get married buy the house, and then have kids. My goal was to go to college, graduate and get an executive job. After that, I'd marry, buy a house and have kids. Life had other ideas. In 2013, I found I disliked my corporate position. While the pay and the status was great but I did not feel that the work was satisfying. In reality, I thought I was simply doing nothing but wasting time. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with other people led me to discover my dream job as a personal trainer. I began my business in 2014. It is my seven-year anniversary in this calendar year. As a Asian female working in the field, there are a many of us. I strive to be a positive influencer within the business to offer quality coaching to empower others to become a healthier and happier them by creating a sustainable lifestyle cater to the individual needs and desires. My goal is to inspire others to pursue their desires and lead the lives they've always dreamed of. When my business was taking flight, I lost my mother. This loss is the hardest of everything. In Heaven she now rests after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry the memory of her daily. Life really does have a way with giving us exactly what we need even if we're not able to comprehend the lesson in this moment. My mother's death has changed my life in a profound way and I believe she gave me a second chance at life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. It was her time to begin her new life which gave me my second shot at living a happy and fulfilling life. In the 30's I am more alive than I ever have. It is true that I live now instead of merely living like I was previously. In sharing my story I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for you. It is my wish that my words can aid you in understanding that you're never truly alone. That you have the capacity to succeed in whatever you want to achieve. My hope is that you live life to your best and never have regrets in the end of your life. We are the only guarantee in life.
