Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd was victorious in round one and received the Performance of the Night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after some great exchanges among the pair of fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
