Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on January 30, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. After 13 years of age, old, he emigrated along with his parents from Nebraska to Casper in the western part of Wyoming, where his father directed the local district of soil conservation for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
